BBQ Boss a new addition to our range of culinary knives. BBQ Boss is the ideal knife for meat preparation for the BBQ. Be it in slicing the cooked brisket or Pork shoulder or cutting up the meat in strips for a stir fry, the BBQ Boss excels. The blade is thin and long making the cuts easy to perform.
The Blade on this knife is deferentially heat treated W2 Tool steel. What this means is while the cutting edge is hard 61HRC so it takes and holds a keen sharpness the spine is flexible. Benefiting from 0.2 percent vanadium content, W-2 holds an edge well and is reasonably tough. While W-1 is fine grade steel, the addition of vanadium in W-2 increases its wear resistance and hardenability. The light blade makes slicing tasks easy. The dark line seen on the blade( Hamon) is a result or the heat treatment process. The Handle is Black G10 and Stabilised and dyed Maple Burl. Its durable and will easily withstand the rigours of the tasks you expect it to perform.
