Hand crafted from 15N20 High Carbon steel. 15N20 is an underrated steel and is most commonly seen as the bright steel in Damascus blades. 15N20 is highly regarded for its exceptional toughness, durability and attractive aesthetics. With its high nickel content, it offers superior resistance to deformation and chipping, making it ideal for demanding cutting tasks.

Hand crafted from 15N20 High Carbon steel. 15N20 is an underrated steel and is most commonly seen as the bright steel in Damascus blades. 15N20 is highly regarded for its exceptional toughness, durability and attractive aesthetics. With its high nickel content, it offers superior resistance to deformation and chipping, making it ideal for demanding cutting tasks.

The blade has slight curve to the tip of the cutting edge, making a rocking motion possible while chopping. This is a knife designed more for the bigger tasks cutting pumpkin, slicing cabbage etc. The knife has a wide distally tapered blade( gradually tapers towards the tip).

The ergonomic handle is crafted from Black G10 and Dyed and Stabilised Quilted maple and is held in place via 2 Orange and 2 Black G10 pins held together with G-Flex epoxy. The 9 Inch Chef is a perfect companion for the 6 Inch Chef. and can be purchased as a set if desired.
