Blackstone Gen II
The Blackstone Gen II is named after the the suburb where we began. Ipswich is a city founded on Coal mining heritage, hard work and resilience. To date The Blackstone remains our most popular model.
The Blackstone Gen II is essentially the same blade as the original with an updated handle design. This is the first time I have used G10 for the handle on a Blackstone. These grips are a composite of Khaki G10 and Tricolour cammo G10 with a Red G10 spacer and Red G10 liners with brass pins and Lanyard tube.
The Blackstone Gen II has a 5 inch drop point blade made from 80CRV2 High Carbon steel blade with Satin finish. The grind is flat making for a great edge geometry together with a light blade (3mm) its fast and nimble. The weight due to G10 is in the handle wit a balance point around the lower pin.
The handle material used varies each time we make one, keeping them all individual. We do accept requests for specific timbers on Custom orders( subject to availability). We also offer a variety of pin stock including multiple sizes and colours of G10 and Brass, Copper and when available German Silver . The Knife comes with a full leather sheath designed for cross-draw carry.
In stock versions of this knife are subject to change in both blade steel and handle material in accordance with available supply. Â If you order a knife on Back-order it has to be made specially. We endeavour to supply as quick as possible but please allow up to 3 weeks for Delivery.
