TAIPAN

The Taipan has a Persian fi&*ter style blade with a western handle. The blade length of  6 inches is  at just 4.5 mm thick at the Ricasso. The Blade, made from 80CRV2 High Carbon steel has a sweeping trailing point that is sharp and ideal as a stabbing knife. Usage could be for skinning or general purpose.

The handle grips are  Ringed Gidgee with a Red G10 spacer on Green and Yellow G10 liners  . The grips are held with 2 Brass pins and an Brass  Lanyard tube all of these materials are held together with G-Flex epoxy.

The Taipan comes with a hand crafted and tooled full leather sheath.  Designed for drop belt carry on either the left or right side.

This version is a truly Aussie Knife combining the colours of the Australian sports flag with Aussie hardwood.

Each knife will have a different handle material and we endeavour to never repeat a handle on any knife. Back-orders are available and can usually be produced and shipped within 3 weeks depending on the time of the year.

We do accept special orders but do not repeat any knife as an exact copy of one previously made.
