RENEGADE
Renegade is a relatively new addition to the Night Strike range of Tactical knives.
Renegade has a 1/4 inch thick blade forged from 1084 HC steel with a stone-wash finish which reduces reflectivity, an important consideration in tactical environments.
Tactical knives come in many forms and aside from functional considerations the materials used also play an important role. In traditional times tactical knives were meant to be multi role tools, today the term tactical is often used instead of fi$&#ting knives as it seems to be less offensive to algorithms and some people.
The Renegade is a multi use tool the wide belly is good for chopping the handle has a protruding butt allowing for smashing and pounding. The steel used is strong and durable and will hold a good edge.
This version features a slotted Stainless steel guard with a brushed finish. The guard is slotted and peened to the blade giving a strong mechanical connection.
The edge is convex giving more steel behind the cutting edge making it longer lasting and durable.
The handle grips are Blue Canyon Richlite Micarta and are fastened with G-Flex epoxy and a mix of Stainless Steel and G10 pins.
The knife also has a long lanyard cord that may be used to wrap around the wrist or taken off and used as a lashing in survival environments.
Renegade has a full leather sheath designed for a standard belt carry. The belt loop has a aluminium stiffener embedded making it stiffer and not prone to lifting when drawing or swinging about while moving.
