Gaucho
The Gaucho are the traditional Stockmen of Argentina. We named this knife for them as the blade is modelled off our Drover model. The Gaucho is 8.25 inches long and 2 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick 80Crv2 High carbon steel. 80 Crv2 steel contains both Chrome and Vanadium which give the steel an ability to both take a harder temper and hold an edge better. The top clip features a wide bevel making for easy penetration additionally the main bevel extends all the way up to meet the top clip reducing the weight of the blade without compromising strength. The balance point of this blade is right at the guard making the knife feel lighter in the hand. The handle grips on this version are Ancient Redgum set on Black G10 liners, the pins are Stainless steel . Ancient Redgum is Australia’s version of Bog Oak. The trees have over the course of centuries after falling into river systems lay there and soaked up minerals and other matter permanently staining the timber and giving it a rich deep red brown colour.  The sheath is standard belt loop carry and can be worn left or right.
Please note all knives are subject to change in handle materials, this is done with each making to always supply a unique product.
